CGC Cobb Trains With FBI

SAN PEDRO, Calif - The Coast Guard Cutter George Cobb conducted training with members of the Federal Bureau of Investigations Southwest region SWAT teams and Hostage Rescue Team yesterday in Los Angeles Harbor.

Approximately 60 FBI SWAT members spent the week receiving special weapons and tactics training with Coast Guard units culminating in the waterborne boarding exercise held on the Cobb. This exercise supported the joint capabilities between the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security.
