| Media Availability: Response to Mid-Air Collision Update |

LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Coast Guard, Los Angeles City Fire Department and Long Beach Fire Department will hold a media availability at 1:15 p.m.Tuesday at Coast Guard Integrated Support Command San Pedro located at 1001 South Seaside Avenue, San Pedro, Calif., 90731 to update the public on current search and rescue efforts. Monday evening the Coast Guard and rescuers from several other agencies responded to a report of a mid-air collision five miles southwest of the Long Beach breakwall. Extensive search and rescue efforts have been on-going since Monday night.
