Coast Guard rescues two people from boat fire

SAN PEDRO, Calif. - A 25-foot response boat crew from Coast Guard Station Los Angeles-Long Beach rescued two people from a boat fire Saturday afternoon in the Port of Los Angeles.

The two people aboard the 38-foot vessel experiencing the cabin fire were removed from the boat unharmed.

Los Angeles City Fire Department responded and extinguished the boat fire and towed the vessel to its mooring.
