| Diver reportedly missing near the Malaga Cove area of Palos Verdes Peninsula |
| PALOS VERDES, Calif.- Rescue helicopters and boats from the Coast Guard, Los Angeles County Fire Department Baywatch - Redondo Beach and the Redondo Beach Harbor Patrol are searching for a 52-year-old male who is believed to have been diving near Malaga Cove earlier this afternoon. It was reported that the missing diver failed to meet a friend at a scheduled time and location and the missing diver's vehicle was found in the parking lot with no dive gear inside. The last known contact with the man, who reportedly planned an eight hour dive, was earlier this afternoon. The case is ongoing. |
