Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles conducts medevac off Catalina Island
CATALINA ISLAND, Calif. — Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles conducted a medevac of an adult female suffering from abdominal pain on Catalina Island, Monday, August 10, 2009.

Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles – Long Beach received notification of the need for a medevac from Avalon hospital who first responded to the trauma late Monday night.

Air Station Los Angeles dispatched an HH-65C Dolphin helicopter which delivered the woman from Catalina Island to Long Beach Memorial in Long Beach, Calif. where the adult female was reported to be in stable condition.
