Coast Guard conducts late-night medevac off Catalina Island
CATALINA ISLAND, Calif. — The Coast Guard conducted a medevac of a 34-year-old female from Catalina Island for medical concerns at approximately midnight Friday.

Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach recieved the request for a medevac from Catalina Island Medical Center at 10:37 p.m. Friday.

A MH-65C Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles transported the woman from Catalina Island to Torrance Memorial Hospital where she was then transferred to Emergency Medical Services personnel.
