HUNTINGTON BEACH HARBOR, Calif. -- Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach received a report at 5:25 a.m. that the 58-foot fishing vessel Pacific Bully was aground with four people on board off the Santa Ana Jetty south of Huntington Beach Harbor.
The Pacific Bully ran around at 4:30 a.m. All four people on board were safely removed from the vessel with no injuries. A salvage contractor has been hired to remove any threat of pollution and provide commercial salvage to the vessel. A 41-foot Response Boat from Coast Guard Station Los Angeles was dispatched to the scene, and an Orange County Rescue Boat is also enroute.
